1. Product Description
Stainless Steel Tee is a pipe fitting and pipeline connector manufactured from stainless steel materials such as 304 and 316. It features a T-shaped configuration with three ports. The product is available in three types: equal tee, reducing tee, and lateral tee. Connection methods include butt welding, threaded connection, and socket welding. The primary manufacturing processes are hydraulic bulging and hot press forming, with hydraulic bulging enabling one-step forming for high production efficiency while increasing the wall thickness of both the main pipe and shoulder areas.
2. Product Applications
Stainless Steel Tee is primarily used for directional changes, flow convergence, and flow diversion at branch points in pipeline systems. At locations where a branch line needs to be taken off from the main pipeline, the tee can split one fluid flow into two paths or combine two flows into one. An equal tee has identical connection sizes at all three ends, while a reducing tee has a branch connection smaller than the main pipe connections.
The product is widely applied in industries such as petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, shipbuilding, construction, oil and gas, liquefied gas, fertilizer, nuclear power, papermaking, food processing, and urban construction for both new installations and maintenance. It is also suitable for stainless steel piping systems conveying drinking water, domestic water, cold water, hot water, seawater, gas, fire protection, and industrial gases.
